I decided to make Toffee Blond Brownies because I wasn’t sure that some of the gift recipients would like the Chocolate-Peanut Cookies I made. Blond brownies are really pretty quick and easy to toss together, so I knew it would be easy to make and stick in the oven while I got some other things together. The recipe came together really easily. I used a whole egg in place of egg substitute. I sprinkled a few more Heath bits on the top than called for, but I thought it would be tasty that way.

These were pretty tasty. The blondie part was a standard, delicious, moist blond brownie. The toffee bits tasted good with them, and looked very nice. I’d make these again.
